Still Standing is built to help you start your day with hope and encouragement. We believe privacy is part of that care. This app is designed to collect as little about you as possible — and by default, nothing personal leaves your phone.
The short version
- We do not require an account.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or health data.
- Your favorites, settings, journal entries, and any mood notes are stored only on your device.
- We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other apps.
- If you buy Still Standing Plus, the payment is handled by the app store you downloaded it from (the Apple App Store or Google Play) — we never see or store your payment details.
Information we do NOT collect
Still Standing does not collect, transmit, or store on our servers any personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or health information.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, the following are saved only on your device and are never sent to us: your preferences (the name you enter for the greeting, reminder time, faith-content toggle, and theme), the content you save to Favorites, any mood check-ins you enter, and — if you have Still Standing Plus — your private journal entries.
Your journal is stored privately on your device only. It is never uploaded, backed up to our servers, shared, or sent to any analytics or advertising service. Because it lives only on your device, uninstalling the app will remove it.
You can remove all of this at any time by clearing favorites, deleting journal entries, changing settings, or uninstalling the app.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose, handled by your phone. We do not send notifications from a server, and we do not know whether or when you open the app.
Purchases (Still Standing Plus)
Still Standing Plus is an optional paid upgrade. All purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded the app from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not collect, receive, or store your payment information — the store handles the transaction under its own privacy policy.
Your Plus access is tied to your app store account (your Apple ID or Google account) so it can be restored on a new device. The app checks your purchase status with the store to unlock Plus features; this does not identify you to us. Your journal and other on-device content are never included in any purchase information.
No account, no login
The full experience — free or Plus — works without creating a Still Standing account or signing in. Plus is unlocked through your existing app store account.
Children's privacy
Still Standing is intended for a general audience of teens and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Data security
Because your information stays on your own device and is not transmitted to us, it is protected by your device’s own security, such as your passcode or biometric lock.
Changes to this policy
This policy reflects the current version of the app. If we later add optional features that involve data — such as an optional account to sync favorites, anonymous analytics, or crash reporting — we will update this policy first, explain exactly what is collected and why, and keep those features opt-in wherever possible.
